Hi! My name is Matthew Sun and I graduated as the Dux of Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School in 2014 with the maximum ATAR of 99.95.

My raw scores for my VCE subjects were:

- English - 50 (Premier’s award)

- Chemistry - 50

- Specialist Maths - 48

- Maths Methods - 48

- Latin - 42

- Physics - 48

- Chinese SL - 45

I was also awarded the Premier’s all rounder award and the prestigious Melbourne National Scholarship which put me on the Chancellor’s Scholars Program at the University of Melbourne. In addition, I competed in several domestic and international mathematical olympiads including the AMO, AMOC Senior Contest and APMO during high school.

With more than 10 years of tutoring experience under my belt, including: private lessons, group classes and charity events, I am very well equipped to guide you through your VCE years and share my knowledge of the ins and outs of the course design as well as the mindset of the top 0.05%

I am currently working with Victor Zhu (50 raw Mathematical Methods, 50 raw Specialist Mathematics and 50 raw Chemistry in 2014) and Dinuk Liyanage (50 raw Further Mathematics, 46 raw Mathematical Methods and 46 raw Chemistry) at Premier Education, a tuition center we have established in the heart of Sunshine focussing on small group classes to help you discover your full potential and achieve excellence. We offer classes for VCE Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Chemistry for Units 1/2 and 3/4, Year 8 Scholarship Exam as well as maths for years 3-10.
