Experience

Since the beginning of 2010, I have taught Latin to more than 100 school students from Grade 6 to Year 12 (including a few dozen Unit 3 & 4 students) and to adult beginners and university students up to PhD level. I also taught, from 2016 to 2018, a Latin class at Monash University mostly aimed at students reading mediaeval and renaissance texts.

I have experience with Latin from all periods of its history up to the present day, some modest experience with speaking Latin, and some ability to read written Latin hands from the middle ages and renaissance.

Qualifications

I have completed Advanced Latin at Monash University. I have done further Latin study online, mostly in spoken Latin, and in the U.S.A. under Reginald Foster.Rates

$60 for 1 hour ($50 if online)

$75 for 1.5 hours ($65 if online)

$90 for 2 hours ($75 if online)
