I primarily provide online tuition through Zoom with the use of a 4K camera, professional microphone and iPad Pro with Apple Pencil for drawing diagrams to explain complex concepts. I am extremely passionate about helping students to dominate their academic journeys across all of their subjects, however I am most specialised in the following areas:

Years 11 and 12: Chemistry, Physics & English, Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics

I have worked in private 1-on-1 tutoring for English, Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with multiple students in which I have observed all of my students exceed at higher levels that they ever imagined were possible for them. I ran weekly tutoring sessions during my senior year at school (2019), and currently have more than 20 clients in Melbourne across all subjects from Y5-12.

In addition to all of these experiences, I am also highly familiar with the online tutoring industry, working to revolutionise the way students learn and grow across Australia. I serve both as Chief Product Officer and QLD Operations Manager for KIS Academics, a major online educational technology company dedicated to accessible, affordable and innovative educational solutions. One by one, we are working to solve the many problems facing Australian secondary school students in the digital age. In my capacities, I supervise the development, marketing and facilitation of a suite of online tutorials and examination resources for all VCE, QCE and HSC students.

EDUCATION

I graduated high school in 2019 as the two-time Dux of Brisbane Boys' College with a 99.95 ATAR, and near-perfect study scores in all of my subjects.

Currently, I am a Chancellor’s Scholar at the University of Melbourne studying a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.).

During Year 12, I studied English, Chemistry, Physics, Maths Methods and Specialist Maths. I achieved near-perfect grades (48-50 score) in all of these subjects.

Nowadays, I break my time up between studying medicine at the University of Melbourne, working as a tutor and subject specialist for VCE curricula and managing national operations for a major edtech company, KIS Academics.

Throughout my schooling, I have acquired a highly natural and intuitive ability to teach and explain difficult concepts in a way that is much more efficient and easy to understand than most high school teachers. As your tutor, I will use these skills to enhance your learning and do everything in my power to guarantee you a place in the course of your dreams.

Qualifications

HOW I TEACH

I believe that the most important part of tutoring is the trust relationship you build with a student. In my experience, this not only allows learning to occur more fluidly and successfully, but also makes sessions fun. This trust relationship is something that I constantly strive to bring to the table.

As your tutor, I will assess your current level of understanding, whether you want to work from the ground up or work directly on answering questions. I will closely follow your work to identify gaps in your knowledge, and catch and correct any misunderstandings. I will teach each concept at a fundamental level until you gain a confident grasp of them. At the end of tutoring, you can be confident that you have learnt, practised and mastered each concept and are ready to ace the exam.

I provide an expert, exam-orientated approach to the preparation of senior chemistry and maths. My students generally obtain A or A+ in these subjects.

I have great success with guiding students receiving very low grades in these subjects in year 10 to obtaining grades of A+ in year 12.
